Two helicopters collided in mid-air before one of them crashed in a field near a school in Taman Melawati, Selangor at noon today.
A video of the incident recorded by a nearby resident showed the helicopter crashing to the ground. The other was able to safely land.
A spokesman from the Selangor Fire and Rescue Department confirmed the incident to MalaysiaNow.
The helicopters, 9M-HCA and 9M-HCB, are understood to have been en route from Subang to Genting Sempah when the collision occurred.
Four victims were involved: Mohamed Sabri Baharom and Mohd Irfan Rawi on 9M-HCB, both of whom died, and former Malaysia Airlines CEO Ahmad Jauhari Yahya and Tan Chai Elan on 9M-HCA.
