Cops nab Instagram account holder suspected of obscene communication with minors
Kajang police chief says a remand application will be made today.
Police yesterday arrested the owner of an Instagram account known as “safieyillias94” on suspicion of sexual grooming and having obscene communication with minors.
Kajang district police chief Mohd Zaid Hassan said a remand application would be made today.
“Give us time to investigate the case,” he told Bernama without giving further details on the arrest.
The act was believed to have occurred recently, when the Instagram account holder in question was chatting and holding a live video session with another Instagram user by the name of “pipinatasha” and two minors.
During the session, they were also seen smoking vape or e-cigarettes.
