New cases dip to 12,541, death toll up by 115

Over 5,500 cases in Selangor.

Another 12,541 Covid-19 cases were recorded today, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 893,323.

Selangor recorded 5,512 cases, Negeri Sembilan 1,619, Kuala Lumpur 1,542, Johor 609, Melaka 575, Kedah 458, Sarawak 423, Pahang 382, Penang 376, Sabah 326, Perak 299, Kelantan 225 and Terengganu 102.

Putrajaya recorded 62 cases, Labuan 24 and Perlis seven.

Active cases stand at 114,053 with 896 in the ICU and 459 in need of respiratory assistance.

Another 6,742 patients were discharged, bringing total recoveries to 772,542.

However, 115 more deaths were reported, pushing the virus toll to 6,728.
