Ali Biju to defend Krian seat as independent in Sarawak polls
He will face three other candidates from Parti Sarawak Bersatu, Parti Bumi Kenyalang and Gabungan Parti Sarawak.

Ali Biju, the incumbent assemblyman for Krian, will be contesting the Sarawak state election as an independent candidate in an effort to defend the seat for a third term.
The Saratok MP won the Krian state seat on a PKR ticket in 2011 and 2016.
Ali, who is also the deputy energy and natural resources minister, submitted his nomination papers at the Sri Krian community hall in Saratok today.
The Bersatu man will face three other candidates in the contest for the seat: Musa Dinggat of Parti Sarawak Bersatu, Danny Kuan of Parti Bumi Kenyalang and Friday Belik of Gabungan Parti Sarawak.
