Shafie to launch Warisan peninsular chapter

Sabah-based party Warisan is set to spread its wings to the peninsula with president Shafie Apdal to launch the division in Kuala Lumpur tomorrow.

Warisan, founded in October 2016, is aligned with opposition pact Pakatan Harapan.

Shafie said on Oct 20 that the party’s plans to expand to the peninsula were well on track.

He also said that Warisan would focus on a multiracial approach in making the move, adding that this had been well received by communities of all ethnicities.
