New Johor exco to be sworn in on Saturday

The swearing-in ceremony for the new line-up of Johor state executive council members is expected to be held this Saturday after consent is received from Johor ruler Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar.

Menteri Besar Onn Hafiz Ghazi said in a Facebook post that the ceremony would be held at the audience hall of Istana Bukit Serene.

Onn took his oath of office as Johor menteri besar on March 15 following Barisan Nasional’s (BN) victory in the state election on March 12.

BN had won 40 of the 56 seats in the state legislative assembly.
