Umno calls urgent meeting of division heads

Umno today called for an urgent meeting involving all heads of divisions at the party headquarters in Kuala Lumpur.

The meeting, which began at 12.30pm, was chaired by party president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and also attended by deputy president Mohamad Hasan and vice-president Mohamed Khaled Nordin.

Among those spotted in the lobby of Menara Dato Onn were Umno chiefs Ahmad Said of Terengganu, Bung Moktar Radin of Sabah and Ab Rauf Yusoh of Melaka.

An earlier message addressed to the Umno division heads had said that Zahid and Hasan were calling them to attend the meeting to discuss a very important matter for the party's future.
