Daily caseload still below 1,800 as death toll up by 3

Another 1,788 Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 4,851,896.

There were 1,509 recoveries, taking total recoveries to 4,791,625.

There are now 23,877 active cases, of which 22,859 or 95.7% are undergoing home quarantine. 

Meanwhile, 0 (0.0%) are at quarantine centres while 980 (4.1%) have been hospitalised. 

A total of 38 are in ICU with 24 in need of respiratory assistance.

Three more deaths were reported, taking total deaths to 36,394.
