A filing to Bursa Malaysia states no disagreements with the board, with no matters that need to be raised with shareholders.
Tony Fernandes has resigned as group CEO of AirAsia X, citing "other commitments", the company announced in a filing to Bursa Malaysia today.
The filing said Fernandes had no disagreements with the board of directors, and that there were no matters that needed to be brought to the attention of shareholders.
Fernandes was redesignated as acting group CEO of AirAsia X on July 8 this year.
He was previously the director of the long-haul budget airline.
He took on the role in addition to his position as non-independent non-executive director of AirAsia X.
