Federal Court judge Zabidin made acting chief judge of Malaya

Federal Court judge Mohamad Zabidin Mohd Diah has been appointed as the acting chief judge of Malaya, according to the Office of the Chief Registrar of the Federal Court.
Its corporate communications division director Suzarika Sahak confirmed Zabidin's appointment when contacted by Bernama.
The post of chief judge of Malaya became vacant following the retirement of Azahar Mohamed on Oct 27.
Zabidin, 65, was appointed as a Federal Court judge on Feb 4 this year.
He was appointed as a judicial commissioner on Aug 1, 2004 and elevated to a High Court judge on July 28, 2006.
Zabidin was appointed as a Court of Appeal judge on Nov 26, 2018.
