The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has predicted sunny weather in the morning on polling day in Padang Serai, Kedah, tomorrow while in the afternoon there will be thunderstorms or rain.
In the Tioman state constituency in Pahang, rain is expected in the morning while in the afternoon there will be fair weather.
MetMalaysia director-general Muhammad Helmi Abdullah said voters are advised to be aware of the surrounding conditions, especially the weather.
"Plan your trip to the polling stations by referring to the weather forecasts and warnings issued by MetMalaysia on the department's official communication platforms.
"Go out to vote early if the weather is expected to be good in the early morning. Don't delay because the weather in the tropics can change quickly with thunderstorms and heavy rain occurring in a short time," he said when contacted by Bernama today.
Tomorrow is voting day in the Padang Serai parliamentary constituency and Tioman state seat for the 15th general election. Polling is scheduled to end at 6pm.
