New infections at 350 as 5 more deaths logged

Another 350 Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 5,033,254.

There were 349 recoveries, taking total recoveries to 4,986,008.

There are now 10,327 active cases, of which 9,901 or 95.9% are undergoing home quarantine. 

Meanwhile, 0 (0%) are at quarantine centres while 410 (4%) have been hospitalised. 

A total of 16 are in ICU with eight in need of respiratory assistance. 

Another five deaths were reported, including two who were brought in dead. Total deaths now stand at 36,919.
