Daily caseload at 164, one new death reported

Another 164 Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 5,043,790.

There were 198 recoveries, taking total recoveries to 4,997,620.

There are now 9,204 active cases, of which 8,888 or 96.6% are undergoing home quarantine. 

Meanwhile, 0 (0%) are at quarantine centres while 314 (3.4%) have been hospitalised. 

A total of two are in ICU with none in need of respiratory assistance. 

One more death was reported, taking total deaths to 36,966.
