Daily caseload at 226, no new deaths reported

Another 226 Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 5,044,204.

There were 202 recoveries, taking total recoveries to 4,998,003.

There are now 9,235 active cases, of which 8,913 or 96.5% are undergoing home quarantine. 

Meanwhile, 0 (0%) are at quarantine centres while 318 (3.4%) have been hospitalised. 

A total of four are in ICU with none in need of respiratory assistance. 

No new deaths were reported, leaving total deaths unchanged at 36,966.
