Daily caseload at 223 as no new deaths reported

Another 223 Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 5,045,192.

There were 193 recoveries, taking total recoveries to 4,998,845.

There are now 9,380 active cases, of which 9,077 or 96.8% are undergoing home quarantine. 

Meanwhile, 0 (0%) are at quarantine centres while 298 (3.2%) have been hospitalised. 

A total of five are in ICU with four in need of respiratory assistance. 

No new deaths were reported, leaving total deaths unchanged at 36,967.
