Lim is incapable of understanding that pointing fingers while standing knee-deep in his own mess is a recipe for public disdain.
DAP's Kepong MP Lim Lip Eng has once again proven that his hypocrisy knows no bounds.
After losing a RM2 million defamation case to MonSpace (M) Sdn Bhd, Lim turned to the public for donations, raising a staggering RM2.25 million. This desperate move mirrors the very same tactics used by PAS to raise money for its Kepala Batas MP Siti Mastura Muhammad, that Lim so arrogantly condemns.
It seems Lim is incapable of understanding that pointing fingers while standing knee-deep in his own mess is a recipe for public disdain. The irony is rich, but the damage is richer.
Lim, who styles himself as a crusader against corruption and inefficiency, has failed spectacularly to address the pressing issues in Kepong. Instead of rolling up his sleeves and working for the people, he prefers to run his mouth, attacking PAS to score cheap political points.
For a man who can’t even manage his own credibility, his attempts to preach about morality are laughable.
What’s even more troubling is Lim’s blatant pandering to ultra right-wing Chinese extremist sentiments. His divisive rhetoric serves only to stoke racial tensions, threatening the very fabric of our multicultural nation.
Lim has become the poster boy for everything that is wrong with Malaysia’s political discourse, a self-serving opportunist who would rather pander to fringe ideologies than unite the people.
Let’s not mince words: Lim has failed Kepong. The people there deserve a representative who prioritises development, inclusivity, and actual results, not someone who thrives on drama and empty slogans. Lim’s political strategy revolves around pointing fingers, playing the victim, and shamelessly cashing in on public sympathy.
Malaysians deserve better than politicians like Lim, who think their loud voices can cover up their glaring failures.
The time has come for the people of Kepong to reject this extremist and demand real leadership, leadership that brings people together rather than tearing them apart.
