Juul Labs Inc has agreed to pay the sum to resolve about 10,000 lawsuits targeting the e-cigarette maker as a major cause of a US youth-vaping epidemic, Bloomberg News reports.

Flavoured disposable vaping devices account for one-third of US e-cigarette sales, up from less than 2% three years ago, according to a review of retail sales data.

The court says it needs more time to study the case.
