Brazil's airport operator, Infraero, says the monitors were advertising screens run by a private company, and that it has taken appropriate legal action.

The case is the second involving a Telegram chat group whose Singapore administrators broke the law by transmitting obscene material.

The law would penalise manufacturers failing to include the filter on smartphones and tablets sold in the state between US$10 and US$500 per violation.
