Malaysia sees 78.6% drop in tourist arrivals thanks to Covid-19
Only 4.29 million tourist arrivals were recorded from January to September compared to 20.1 million in the same period last year.
International tourist arrivals down 68% from Jan-June
Per capita spending also dropped 5.3% from RM3,121.60 in 2019 to RM2,956.10 this year.
